Pronouns and Auxiliary Verbs
About Course
This lesson introduces the fundamental structure of Tibetan sentence formation through pronouns and auxiliary verbs. You will begin by learning the three grammatical persons in Tibetan and understanding how they are used in everyday communication.
From there, you will explore how to express “to be” and “to not be” in both the first and third person, along with practical examples that demonstrate their usage in real sentences. You will also learn how to express possession using “to have” and “to not have,” helping you form meaningful statements and basic conversations in Tibetan.
In addition, this lesson covers how to ask and answer simple “yes” and “no” questions using first and third person sentence structures. Through guided examples and reading practice, you will build a strong foundation in Tibetan grammar and gain the confidence to create and understand basic Tibetan sentences naturally.
